Our Nature Walk

The Welch family took a special nature walk for Earth Day and we saw alot of pretty flowers and two snakes! We also unsuccessfully tried to catch a tadpole. It was really fun!

Josh's New Skateboard Ramp

Josh and David came home right after Thanksgiving and started working on a skateboard ramp for Josh. Josh is pretty excited about it, but he hasn't been able to finish it because it has been so cold and rainy, and they just haven't had time. They will probably finish it soon, though, and we will put a great picture of Josh skateboarding on it:)

Rachel and Zelda in Matching Clothes

We bought Zelda a new sweater for Christmas, and when we got home, we remembered that Rachel had some pajamas that matched! They looked so cute!

Hannah's Pitching Clinic With Cat Osterman

Cat Osterman agreed to do a private pitching clinic with all the Houston Power pitchers. Hannah was very excited to get to meet her! She is one of the main pitchers on team USA, and she played for UT in college. It was pretty special:) She signed a ball for Hannah and took a few pictures. Hannah was a little bit sweaty after pitching, but it was still a pretty good picture:)

Hannah's Tournament in Florida

Hannah had a showcase tournament in Ft. Lauderdale last weekend, and although it was a little bit rainy, they had alot of fun. Mom and Josh and Rachel didn't get to go:( , but they did their own fun things at home. We got to visit the Atlantic Ocean and got alot of really great pictures, including this one. It was a great experience for Hannah:)

Rachel's Tooth

Rachel lost her first tooth on Saturday night! It is soooooo tiny! And she got a dollar from the tooth fairy! :)

Nationals in Georgia

We had so much fun in Georgia at nationals! It was a really great experience, and we place 5th out of seventeen teams! We also got to play in the stadium, which was built for the 1996 Olympics, and that was really cool. On the way home we stopped in Vicksburg and learned a little bit about the Civil War. We also made a quick stop at Bass Pro Shops. We all had a great trip!

San Antonio Zoo

Sorry we haven't gotten a chance to take pictures or anything for quite a while. The only things worth mentioning are this trip to San Antonio, of course, Dawn's birthday(June 12), and Hannah's birthday,(June 15)(she got a a cell phone!). Anyways, we dropped William off in San Antonio, and we took a little trip to the zoo while we were there. It was almost as good as the San Diego Zoo!

Zelda in the Tub

Zelda had a little incident with a mud puddle in the backyard. She was a mess, so into the tub she went. Josh took this video, and it turned out to be pretty funny. She is so crazy!

William's Family Day and Graduation

After thirteen long weeks of boot camp, William has finally made it past boot camp and graduated. We are so happy to have him back for even the short ten days.

He's Back!

Sea World-San Diego

As soon as we arrived in San Diego, we headed straight to Sea World. The first thing we did was the Shamu Show, and we sat in the front row. Not a smart idea if you are not ready to get wet. We had been there for about 10 minutes, and we were already soaked to the skin. Shamu can splash a lot more water than we thought! But we enjoyed the rest of the trip, even if we were a little cold.

Visit to the Arboretum

While Hannah and Dad were in Sugarland,Rachel, Josh, and Mom visited the arboretum at SFA.There are flowers everywhere at this time of year, and we got some good pictures.

The Angel's Tounament in Sugarland

Well, unfortunately, we didn't play very well, but we had fun. We also got to go visit everyone at KFC Sunday. It was good to see everyone!

Rachel's Ballet Recital Invitation

Rachel would like to invite everyone that can come to her first ballet recital. It takes place on Saturday, May 31, at 7:00pm.If you would like to come, please call or e-mail Dawn so that she can get your tickets. We have heard great things about it, so it should be worth attending. Rachel would really appreciate it.

Our trip to New Braunsfels(?)

We went to New Braunsfels(spell?)for a friend's wedding and had a great time! The wedding was very pretty, and there was a lot to do in New Braunsfels. Here are the pictures, which turned out pretty good.
